AIAA/IEEE Digital Avionics Systems Conference (DASC) is a preeminent aviation industry conference by focusing on avionics, communication, navigation and surveillance hardware and software systems, as well as air traffic management and human factors in aviation. The 37th DASC was held in London from Sept. 24 to Sept 27 2018. Participants including employees from NASA, EASA, FAA, Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, GE, AVIAGE SYSTMES, Rockwell Collins, UTC, Honeywell, Thales and academic.

AVIAGE SYSTEMS has two papers accepted by the 37th DASC. One paper “Flight Autonomy Impact to Future Avionics Architecture” was jointly written by Dr. Joe Yin and Dr. Zhu Zhiqiang, which was granted as the best paper of the session (Fig. 1 and Fig. 2). The other paper “Data Flow Guard for Aircraft Secure Communication “ was jointly written by Mohammed Waheed, Andrea Nan and Joe Yin.  Joe and Waheed attended the conference and presented their paper respectively on behalf of the authors (Fig. 3 and Fig 4). This is the 2nd year AVIAGE SYSTEMS presented at the DASC and improved the visibility of AVIAGE SYSTEMS in the international aviation community and Chinese aviation industry. Representatives from Chinese universities such as Tsinghua University, Beihang University (BUAA), Shanghai Jiaotong University, Civil Aviation University of China (CAUC), Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) etc. have also attended the conference. Through participation in the conference, AVIAGE SYSTEMS has explored the potential collaborations with potential partners and got to know the trend of the industry.
