AVIAGE SYSTEMS Establishes Subsidiary in Chengdu to Expand Presence in Low-Altitude Aviation

October 28, 2024 – AVIAGE SYSTEMS announced the official establishment of its wholly-owned subsidiary, which has completed industrial and commercial registration. This new entity is set to drive innovation in the development and production of advanced avionics and flight control products tailored to civil low-altitude aircraft, including eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) and STOL (short take-off and landing) aircraft.

In addition to supporting COMAC C919 aircraft ongoing enhancement, delivery and airline operations, AVIAGE SYSTEMS is strategically advancing into new growth areas, fostering quality production capabilities and stimulating fresh momentum into the industry. The Chengdu subsidiary will focus on R&D, project management, and business development of advanced avionics and flight control systems for AAM market.

Chengdu, with its robust industrial clusters, renowned universities, and highly skilled professional talent, is well-positioned to support these efforts. It is also the headquarter to AEROFUGIA, a key strategic customer for AVIAGE SYSTEMS. The new subsidiary enables close collaboration with project and engineering teams to expedite the development and iteration of cutting-edge technologies.
