Brief Description:
- The MRO Quality Leader will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs and processes for an area of MRO quality segment. In this role, you will report to the Operations Leader and has authority over and is responsible for, supervising the MRO quality control and assurance functions as well as coordinating, accomplishing and supervising inspection functions of the repair station. You will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Primary contact with regulators, domestic and global, when delegated by MRO and program leaders.Responsible for establishing an independent Quality & Safety Management System for the organization to ensure that MRO work meets the standards of airworthiness and workman ship to monitor compliance with CAAC, FAA and other global regulators requirements and to liaison with authorities on all matters affecting the airworthiness and the approvalLead the team to develop and maintain airworthiness authorities approved repair station manuals and procedures and ensure company maintenance organization license/air agency certificate current and valid.Responsible for the MRO audit program, in charge of all internal and external audits to ensure compliance is maintained and promote corrective/improvement actions to any deficiencies effectivelyProvide strong support to the company Quality Management System activities as an internal auditor and an experienced consultantOversight of the development, implementation and use of repair station procedures and work instructions for overhaul and repair of avionics productDevelop a comprehensive Supplier Quality Assurance Systems for MRO to include initial supplier qualification, SQA tracking, measurement and reportingSecure inspection plan, oversight and development of the personnel performing inspections, manage the list of certified operators per procedure/activitiesEnsure that the inspections and test are performed properly in accordance with technical dataEnsure the safe storage, delivery, archival and retrieval of all maintenance records IAW customer and regulatory requirementsEnsure effective calibration program and stamp issuance & controlOversight that employees are properly trained and kept to the necessary level of competence, skills and qualifications.Handles all MRO non-conformance up to the product/service being delivered to the airworthiness authorities and customerDeploy risk analysis and prevention culture through the MRO organization
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree, science major from an accredited university or college5-8 years of diversified management experience in MRO avionics industryFamiliar with civil aircraft maintenance management regulations, standards, etc. of CAAC, EASA, FAA and other airworthiness authorities.Hold current valid CAAC issued Civil Aircraft Maintenance Personnel License Strong oral and written communication skills both in Chinese and EnglishWillingness and ability to work in a flexible schedule when necessary
