Brief Description:
- The Hardware Engineer will perform qualification test for avionics product from hardware perspective, include: planning, requirement management, validation and verification, lifecycle engineering. The role will require skills on environmental qualification test.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain product hardware requirements with skills in area including product Environmental, EMI/EMC, HIRF etc., and hardware test requirements, including test equipment and software requirements;
- Generate hardware development artifacts according to DO-254, DO-160, ARP-4754, DO-
- 297, TSO153 and related AC required;
- Environmental and EMI/EMC control plan, test plan and test procedure development;
- Coordinate global test resource to conduct Environmental, EMI/EMC tests, achieve the program schedule, cost, performance requirements;
- EMI, environmental related issue investigation, and provide EMI, Environmental related design proposal, guidelines;
- Product CTSO minimum performance specification and required artifacts development;
- Develop and manage tasks to meet cost, schedule, scope, and deliverable goals;
- Develop and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders to ensure that customer requirements are achieved.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Minimum 1 years' experience in Environmental and EMI/EMC test and debug, familiar with Temperature/Humidity/Shock/Vibration/Power Parameters/EMI/EM Susceptibility/Lightning testing
- Familiar with general lab instruments such DMM, scope, logic analyzer and network analyzer
- Solid oral and written communication skills (Chinese Mandarin and English)
Qualifications Desired:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Avionics systems development experience will be a plus
- Knowledge and experience of avionics standards such as ARINC 653, ARINC 664, ARINC
- 429, ARINC 825, and DO-160, DO-254, DO-297 ARP4754, TSO etc.
- Technological proficiency, including relevant engineering tools (e.g. DOORS) desired
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills within cross-functional team environment will be a plus
- Project management knowledge and experience will be a plus
