Brief Description:

• The EIR operates in lot of uncertainty at a fast pace. He/she works with internal cross-functional teams across levels of seniority, helping take ideas from genesis to launch till deliver and beyond. He/she helps bring “the outside in” mindset into the process of launching a viable small business.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Strategic Marketing to understand key business drivers, challenges, and future opportunities;
• Work with Marketing and Product Management to solidify business plan for the assigned new business launch area;
• Work with Business Development / Sales teams to convince potential customers about the value proposition of, source concept of operations and use cases of, the new product;
• Work as engineer to build and iterate early experiments of new products and business models. Then complete the product design and verification along with customer expectations and support product application for customers;
• Responsible for the research and implementation of GNSS satellite navigation baseband acquisition and tracking algorithms;
• Responsible for FPGA design, timing analysis, debugging, verification, performance optimization and other related work for the GNSS engine;
• Responsible for the Matlab simulation and Simulink modeling;
• Responsible for writing the design documents, test documents and usage of FPGA software and other related documents and related work;
• Collaboration/leading in hardware architecture design, circuit design and system verification;
• Participate in system architecture and requirement definition, market development and bid support;
• Participate as a key reviewer in technical reviews and provide technical guidance and mentoring to team;
• Work with the team to ensure product development in compliance with the company process, agreed requirements and delivery plan;
• Work with supply chain and manufacturing to implement and iterate cost, quality, and customer service strategies in the business plan;
• Other tasks when assigned;

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor degree or above in signal processing, navigation, electronics, communications, computers and other related majors;
• Proficient in the principles of GNSS signal processing algorithms and familiar with GNSS receiver design;
• Proficient in FPGA development languages ​​such as Verilog HDL/VHDL, and have good coding style;
• Rich experience in FPGA development (logic design, synthesis and debugging) with Xilinx, Altera or Microchip FPGA;
• Familiar with FPGA design and coding implementation of GNSS satellite navigation baseband acquisition and tracking;
• Familiar with satellite measurement and control, digital transmission modulation and demodulation mechanisms;
• Logical thinking
• Good communication and coordination skills with teamwork spirit

Qualifications Desired:

• Experience in high-precision/anti-interference/multi-frequency GNSS receiver design is preferred;
• Familiar with MATLAB and Simulink;
• Experience in embedded system development and design;
• Experience with being a founder / co-founder of successful technology start-up is highly valued;
• A strong professional network (investors, mentors, founders, technologists) needed to help drive the business creation toward success;
• Outstanding business communication skills (written/verbal);
