Brief Description:

  • This role is focused on managing schedules and coordinates the product delivery to satisfy customer demand. Analyzes and revises production plans & purchasing plans and provides appropriate delivery dates as required. Works with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Analyzes and reports on actual customer demand, trends and forecasts, and adjusts capacity plans accordingly. You will also have autonomy to work across a wide range of initiatives to create an impact to supply chain.


  • Implement Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with input from cross functional teams.
  • Translate customer orders and projected forecasts into production plan and purchasing plan with a time-phased built schedule, basing on capacity analysis.
  • Manage load leveling and bottleneck scheduling and utilize theory of constraints (TOC) for more accurate scheduling.
  • Establish, measure, monitor, and adjust capacity levels to execute all manufacturing schedules.
  • Coordinate and monitor equipment demand from cross functional team.
  • Analyze production floor status through input/output control reporting.
  • Process materials purchase orders and track the execution based on supply/demand situation.
  • Evaluate and drive resolution on material quality, price, supply issues, delivery and invoice discrepancies.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support their implementation to drive supply chain improvements that exceed internal and external customer’s expectations.
  • Handle projects without supervision while demonstrating integrity, flexibility, and attention to detail.
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
  • Be capable of utilizing spreadsheet and ERP-type software in managing the planning process.
  • Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written.
  • Supply chain functions experience and understand their internal logics (demand/supply planning, procurement, inventory control).
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications Desired:

  • Experience in scheduling job roles.
  • Experience with MRP systems, Oracle is preferred.
  • Experience with contract management, project management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams regarding process establishment and/or improvement.
  • Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize considerable and complex data.
  • Good negotiation and influence skills.
  • Lean or Green Belt Six Sigma certification.
