COMAC Supplier Conference 2021 was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, and over 100 supplier representatives attended to review programs progress, and discussed 2021 working plan. AVIAGE SYSTEMS, as the core avionics supplier and integrator of C919, was invited to the conference and won the 2020 Supplier of the Year Best Partnership Award.

This is the sixth Supplier of the Year Award that AVIAGE SYSTEMS has received from COMAC. In the past, the company has received Performance Excellent Gold Award, Performance Excellent Sliver Award, Cooperation Achievement Award, Excellence On-Site Support Award and Best Partnership Award for consecutive years. COMAC appreciated AVIAGE SYSTEMS for its strong support to COMAC in the special year 2020 as a Great Partner, for working together to move C919 project forward as planned even during the challenging epidemic period.

George Y. Chang, AVIAGE SYSTEMS President and CEO received the award on behalf of the company and he expressed “Ensuring success of COMAC Programs is one of AVIAGE SYSTEMS’ key strategies, we always believe that customer’s success is our success. We will continue to provide strong support for the C919 and look forward to working with COMAC on more programs. Together with customers and partners, we’re aiming to create incredible flight experience.”

Later, AVIAGE SYSTEMS participated in a separate seminar for joint venture (JV), Wu Qiong, Vice President of AVIAGE SYSTEMS was invited to make a speech as the representatives of the JV models. He shared the growth journey and successful stories of the company.
