Brief Description:

• This role is responsible for technical direction and lead the development of system solutions for AVIAGE SYSTEMS’ products under specific industry and company process and standard. This role works consistently in practical and innovative ways towards defined goals. In this role you will be responsible for work that is defined or less defined in scope, but also be expected to independently define and execute work assignments as well as making sound technical decisions, guiding others in execution. You will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives and have the ability to effect short-term and long-term business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Independently or lead group responsibility for the execution of design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and judgement and adhering to business/industrial standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
• Develop and maintain systematic planning per industry standard, process, budget and schedule
• Coach and influence others to produce approaches to achieve goals
• Lead execution of plans to achieve technical requirements, scheduling, budgeting, and contractual commitments
• Develop and lead action plans to anticipate and respond to complex problems which need cross team coordination
• Work in collaboration with necessary parties and global engineering teams to achieve the team/project/business goal
• Identify opportunities, develop and lead action plans to anticipate and respond to problems, and for continuous improvements and proactively manage risks, changes and uncertainty
• Improve technical capability of team and individual thru mentoring, coaching and lecturing
• Develop system CONOPS, proposal and solution from scratch for avionics products
• Develop system plan and process to support product development and certification
• Develop system level requirement and system architecture
• Define system interface document among different systems/subsystems/components.
• Develop test case and procedure for system/subsystem/component integration and verification
• Lead and involve into security related tasks in product development, including risk analysis, defining/implementing/verifying security requirement
• Lead and involve into Artificial Intelligence tasks in product development
• Follow process to provide and document the solution against the detected issues
• Execute and fulfill assigned tasks per requirements, on schedule and within budget
• Discuss, communicate and exchange technical information with internal and external customer
• Report status, schedule and issues to immediate technical lead or manager

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Information Security, Electronics or Computer Science field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in system domain for high standard safe/secure products
• Lead or develop independently system solutions from scratch for at least one product
• Solid knowledge about application security standard, methodologies and frameworks
• Solid knowledge in different IT technologies about information security
• Solid knowledge in Artificial Intelligence technologies
• Knowledge on real time operating system, such as VxWorks
• Experience with multi-task software development in embedded system
• Experience with software requirement and architecture development
• Experience with documentation practices and requirements management
• Solid English oral and written communication skills
• Solid collaboration and interpersonal skills

Qualifications Desired:

• Experience in Aerospace or Aviation industry
• Experience with APR4754A, DO-178B/C, ARINC 664, ARINC 429, ARINC 825, ARINC 653, ED-201, DO-326A/ED-202A, DO-356A/ED-203A, DO-355/ED-204, ED-205
• Demonstrated leadership skill in cross culture environment
• Extensive program execution experience on medium to large system development
